The Festival of Colour is a celebration that mirrors our dedication to artistry and vibrant expression. We believe in supporting events that enrich our community and showcase the diverse talents that make our region so special.
This year, we're particularly excited to be supporting two unique shows:
Te Radar's blend of culinary storytelling and wit aligns perfectly with our appreciation for the finer things in life, while the Topp Twins' iconic humour and musical talent embody the joyful, inclusive spirit we cherish. We're honoured to contribute to these performances, knowing they will bring laughter, inspiration, and a touch of local magic to festival-goers.
Topp Twins - Untouchable Girls
Iconic Kiwi comic, country music, yodelling, lesbian duo: in conversation in their own words with Kathryn Ryan.
The incredible story of how a couple of country kids from Huntly became much-loved Kiwi icons and TV stars, with their own unique brand of original country music and comedy that has captivated audiences in New Zealand and overseas for over 40 years.
Jools and Lynda Topp aka the Topp Twins share their story in their own words, describing their adventurous lives through laugh-out-loud anecdotes and heart-warming tales.
As well as their long careers as country music stars and comedians, with characters like Camp Mother & Camp Leader and Ken & Ken, the twins have always stood up for their political beliefs and have been embraced by New Zealanders from all walks of life.
